Whisky (Scotch whisky, mostly. The US, Ireland, and even India have some nice ones, but overall...)
- PC5 from Bruichladdich. Find me a bottle and I'll be your friend for life!
- Bruichladdich in general is excellent whisky, and runs the friendliest distillery I know! Links, 12 second edition, drambuster...
- McCarthy's and Wasmund's are the 2 American whisky's I'll mention here
- A'bunadh is a cask strength scotch from the Aberlour distillery that is very warming and very good. A balance of bourbon and sherry finishes that works extremely well.
- Johnny Walker Green Label is as good as their blue for 1/3 the cost - AND it's finally available
in the US! (I'd like to think that all my comments over the years had something
to do with it)
- Old Malt Casks is an excellent independant bottler - most consistantly good I know
- Speymalt somehow turns mediocre Macallan into fantastic stuff
- Strathisla, Glenfarclas, Mortlach, Highland Park, and Talisker also are delicious. (the list goes on...)
- ...and then there are those 1 of a kind bottles that pass away from everything except memory
